The Show Must Go On: Dance Opens Live Performance Season with World of Dance

Students and faculty in the Department of Dance prep for their season opener: World of Dance

After a year of uncertainty and limited performance opportunities, the BYU Department of Dance is looking forward to being back in the de Jong Concert Hall to present World Of Dance.

This concert promises to have something for everyone, as a cast of 150 students will present choreographic works in Ballet, Ballroom, Contemporary and Cultural Dance. Groups Living Legends and Young Ambassadors are also set to perform.

“Students have returned to campus early to ensure that this concert is ready to go. We are anxious to get back on the stage and can't wait to have a live audience!” said Ballroom Dance Artistic Director Curt Holman.

The concert will run from September 16 to 18 in the de Jong Concert Hall.
