Keely Song Glenn (MFA, CLMA) is an interdisciplinary artist-scholar whose work centers on movement agency and innovation within the natural environment. A prolific producer of theater productions and dance films, her works have premiered in both international and national dance film festivals, including the acclaimed San Francisco Dance Film Festival, Dance on Camera Festival, InShadow, and Dance Camera West. Her ability to curate not only dance productions but also immersive experiences, rooted in the needs and desires of her community, highlights her commitment to accessible art. In addition, her extensive environmental stewardship and STEAM collaborations highlights her love of cross-disciplinary research rooted in the compassion for the Earth.
Keely brings an extensive background in somatic education, allowing her to facilitate performances, workshops and classes tailored to diverse demographics and needs. Ms. Song is a Registered Somatic Movement Educator (RSME), a Registered Somatic Dance Educator (RSME) through ISMETA. She is also a certified 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (200 RYT), an ACE Personal Trainer, and a Certified Laban Movement Analyst (CLMA) through the Integrated Movement Studies.
As a lifelong learner, she integrates nature, family, and movement in all aspects of her life. If she is not with students researching the wonders and miracles of the body and nature, you will find her with her husband and her three boys living life to its fullest in a slot canyon or on a mountain.
