Karen D. Jensen (Ph.D) is an Assistant Professor of Dance. She studied dance as a child and in her youth with the BYU Young Dancemakers. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and a Master's degree in Dance, specializing in screendance. She has taught dance in the private sector, public schools and internationally. She graduated with a Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Education, specializing in international education and internships.
Research Interests: Dance education, screendance/dance and film, narrative inquiry, digital storytelling and international education.
