Living Legends
“Learning important lessons and going through different trials — this show focuses on these seasons in our lives,” said Living Legends president Dion Tapahe.
Tapahe is one of the Native American dancers, and she hopes that people saw themselves in this show. “I hope they understood the importance of their ancestors and own culture. The show follows a young man’s journey of life. During this journey, he discovers strength in his identity and the importance of his lineage.”
Although their performances center on three main cultural ethnicities, it represents numerous countries, nations and tribes. This concert was delightful to ages young and old.
Living Legends will perform again on Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. Viewers can see their show online at Dance.byu.edu
