Living Legends Presents ‘Seasons’ at BYU

BYU’s beloved Polynesian, Latin and Native American dance company set to perform Feb. 14-15

BYU’s Living Legends will present “Seasons,” an evening of high-energy dance, February 14-15 in the De Jong Concert Hall.

The company, which performs traditional and contemporary dances from Polynesian, Latin and Native American cultures, has been captivating audiences across the globe since 1961. 

This particular production has toured across the United States, Germany and Switzerland. The BYU performance marks the culmination of Living Legends’ most recent tour to schools and communities throughout Arizona.

Through authentic dance, music and costume, company members aim to highlight their heritage and educate audiences on the diversity of human culture. While the show includes time-honored favorites from Samoa, Argentina, Paraguay, New Zealand and many more, the focus is on unity. 

In a combination of past and future, “Seasons” presents a moving celebration of life and joy that is sure to delight people of all ages and cultures, and remind us what it means to be human.
