In Dance Groups, Department of Dance, International Folk Dance Ensemble

As the American Folk Dance Ensemble boarded the bus to begin their tour, emotions were high as everyone was ready to perform in Switzerland, France, and Belgium.

It’s an honor for the group to be representatives for the United States. This will be especially true as the group spends the Fourth of July on stage at the US Mission to the United Nations.

Three folk festivals are anxiously awaiting the arrival of this group. The main focus of this tour is to represent American song and dance to audiences and other folk dancers.

With the fastest group check-in time the group has ever had, and no travel glitches en route to Europe, the students are excited to begin performing this week. Everything looks to be right on track for a fun and effective tour for the group.
